CrazyDrill Cool Titanium PTC, 3 x d  

CrazyDrill Cool Titanium ATC for titanium alloys and CrazyDrill Cool Titanium PTC for pure titanium are available in diameters of 1 mm to 6.35 mm (.039” to .250”, fractional inches available) and for drilling depths from 3 x d to 10 x d. A new generation of cooling channels feeds up to 4 x more coolant to the tool’s tip.

For drilling depths up to 6 x d, centering is not necessary on straight surfaces. We recommend pilot drilling or centering only on irregular, rough (with CrazyDrill Coolpilot Titanium ATC) or inclined surfaces (with CrazyDrill Crosspilot) and if a high degree of position accuracy is required.

For drilling depths over 6 x d, Mikron Tool recommends pilot drilling with CrazyDrill Coolpilot Titanium ATC or CrazyDrill Crosspilot on inclined surfaces.
